This piece designed for Christian was influenced by the artwork found on the Mammen axe but also with a Celtic influence which can be seen especially on the terminals.
Christian was keen that the dragon would be a proud mythical beast but wanted to steer away from a fierce or aggressive depiction and we have incorporated some runes with a personal meaning for him as well.
For this design, Nadine was asked to keep a certain level of symmetry down the spine as well as to keep the design within the t-shirt neckline so it can remain hidden. We understand that for a lot of jobs and careers that visible tattoos still can be a bit taboo and we are more than happy to work within any such requirements.
